ARSENAL INDUSTRIES started manufacturing operations in Venezuela in 2001, after establishing a strategic alliance with CAVIM (Compañía Anónima Venezolana de Industrias Militares, regulatory body of weapons and explosives, subsidiary of Venezuelan Armed Force), to represent the country at the LTD Armourshield of England, global leader in manufacturing ballistic protection equipment and owner of the largest quantity of patents registered at the NIJ of United States.

The initiative of setting up a bulletproof vests local factory under that license is led by a business group with experience in security, protection and as important provider to Venezuelan Armed Force and several security bodies in the country, through companies like Glock de Venezuela, C.A. and Armería Global, C.A.

The combination between the quality of material and vests manufacturing, the support of a recognized mark and competitive prices in comparison to products imported from United States, gave to Arsenal an undeniable leadership in selling bulletproof vests in Venezuela, where approximately 4 of 5 pieces currently in use were produced in its site located in Maracay.

To ensure this market position the company adopted an aggressive commercial strategy based on anticipation and full satisfaction of customer needs. The first part was accomplished by joining international experience and design of seminars on ballistic protection with the participation of security bodies, in order to obtain information about challenges in this area directly from police officers, officials and professional bodyguards. The second part consisted in a strong investment in products development and its conversion in a catalogue frequently adapted according to customer needs evolution. In this way an increasing number of models were created directly under ARSENAL trademark, which nowadays are the bulk of our company offer.

Naturally, the next step was a commercial growth towards other Latin American countries. In 2011 ARSENAL INDUSTRIES set up in Panama City an even larger factory, from where the company takes care (or is able to do it) of all regional markets with rapidity, cost efficiency and product variety.
